  • Has plugin support for PGP and GnuPG (PGP/MIME and identity specific options also supported)
  • Integrated S/MIME support
  • Multiple SMTP server support both at account and identity configuration levels.
  • Ability to define custom headers for identities
  • Ability to choose, at message composition/send time, where the outgoing message will be filed, and (for replies) to optionally also re-file the message being replied to.
  • Full support for SSLv3 and STARTTLS for POP, IMAP and SMTP


  • Doesn't render graphical attachments inline
  • Single-threaded
  • Keystrokes not configurable
  • No localisation
  • Configuration in multiple places (eg. Preferences, Windows menus) is confusing
