1Mulberry's non-standard message id (of the form <longuniquestring@[local.machine.ip.address]> rather than <longuinquestring@smtp.host.com> confuses spam fighting.  The mismatch between Message-Id and sender/reply address is characteristic of spam. The use of a dotted quad address is characteristic of spam.  I can't even get messages i send to myself without substantially compromising my spam filters.  No other mail I get has this atypical Message-Id header format (I guess none of my correspondents use Mulberry).

3Is there any way to fix this?  it seems to be a substantive flaw that has generated quite a bit of dissatisfaction among many users.
