Description
hi,
i've Mulberry in 3 pane window / List Vertical view mode.
when reading through messages in the message-list pane, i'll typically use a select-read-delete modality, with Mulberry auto-selecting the next available, not-deleted message to read.
two usability issues:
(1) as one reads to the bottom of the message pane, Mulberry *does*, of course, keep scrolling the window, but only keeps ONE (the next) message visible.
in the spirit of "know where you're going" look-ahead, this really should be increased; something like keep two/three messages visible ... ideally settable as an option in prefs.
(2) when reading messages in this mode, the currently read message if , of course, highlighted. because there's no current option to automatically move a message to trash on delete -- is 'stays' in the pane as deleted/ crossed-out -- that message pane gets full of cruft. so, i regularly Expunge the window to 'freshen' up the view.
on expunge, atm, the selected/current/highlighted message will usually bounce to a location off the visible scope of the message pane -- requiring me to scroll to get back to it.
correct behavior should be that the current message remains in scope/view, preferably buffered above/below with a couple of other messages.
