#86 Reply headers lost when saving draft Application Soon Bug 09/18/06

When I reply to a message, save it as a draft and close it, the saved draft does not contain the In-Reply-To and References headers that identify it as a reply.

Thus, when reopening a draft and sending it, the information what thread it belongs to is lost.

#124 Sieve script editor submits invalid scripts Application Next Bug 10/24/06

Checking the "edit script component" checkbox causes bad Sieve filters to be generated.

Mulberry 4.0.6 on MacOSX 10.4.8, uploading to cyrus-imapd-2.2.13 server on Solaris 10.

I have this sieve script:

# Generated from GUI
if header :contains ["List-ID"] ["sussex"] {
	fileinto "lists.sussex";
	stop;
}

Which works fine, unless I look at the script by checking the "Edit Script Component" box before uploading it.

It looks like a line-ending issue:

#127 "Make rule" adds local rule to sieve rule list Application Next Bug 10/27/06

If I have the Rules Manager open, with the "Sieve" tab selected, then selecting "Make Rule" from the Edit menu results in the creation of a local rule in the sieve rules list.

Better behaviour would be to put the local rule in the local rules list.

Best behaviour would be to make a sieve rule.

#82 Mulberry won't open or save attachments containing umlauts in the filename Application Soon Bug 09/14/06

Mulberry is unable to save attachments that contain umlauts in their filename. Double clicking an attachment or right-clicking and selecting "View Parts" or "Extract Parts" doesn't do anything at all except for a short flicker of the screen, but the "save as" window won't open.

#98 tab "stops" in draft and message windows are incorrectly positioned Application Soon Bug 09/26/06

I use plain formatting with a monospaced font (MS Andale Mono - which makes distinguishing O, 0, I, l and 1 easier - unfortunately, it is no longer available from MS), tab width 8 and un-checked box "Use Spaces for Tabs" (Outgoing -> General).

Here is an example...

0000000001111111111222222222233333333334444444444555555555566666666667777 1234567890123456789012345678901234567890123456789012345678901234567890123 expect:.T.......T.......T.......T.......T.......T.......T.......T.......T appears:T...T.....T.....T.....T.....T.....T.....T.....T.....T.....T.....T

A line of alternating tab and "T" characters is typed (and later displayed in the message window). The "expect" line shows that I expect to see the "T"s in columns 9, 17, 25, 33, etc. The "appears" line represents what actually I see, instead. The periods/full-stops appear here to show the spacing of the "T" characters.

If I copy and paste the original lines into Notepad or Vim, the tab/T line appears as expected.

If I check the "Use Spaces for Tabs" box, the expected number of spaces is inserted to align the next "T" character on a "stop" position.

Changing the tab width value when "Use Spaces for Tabs" is un-checked has the effect of changing the position of the first "T" on the line. All the other "T"s appear as if tab stops were every 6 character positions (columns 13, 19, 25, 31, etc.). I would expect the "stops" to appear in columns (n * w) + 1, where w is the width value and n = 0, 1, 2, 3, ...

Thanks, Bart

#122 Splash screen on Mac displays "illegal copy" Admin Tool Next Bug 10/20/06

After using the Admin Tool on Mac, the application starts with the splash screen that has "illegal copy" after both "serial number" and "licensed to"

#150 tab in message window does not go to next unseen message Application Soon Bug 11/22/06

As advertised in the key shortcut FAQ, tab in a message window ought to switch the display to the next unseen message in the mailbox. However, it does not - it cycles between edit fields in the window. The default tab behavior should be changed to do the next unseen message, but a ctrl-tab should revert to cycling the focus. I think more people will prefer that to having ctrl-tab be the next unseen and tab as-is.

#95 Corruption of text in subject string when using russian language Application None Bug 09/25/06

If one tries to send message with russian language in subject string Mulberry corrupts subject line -- it replaces arbitrarily some letters with question signs, for example string "Это эксперимент" ("This is experiment" in russian) is replaced with "Это экспер??мент" (some mail clients like Thunderbird show only "Это экспер") -- here letter "и" (russian i) is replaced with two question signs. Message body and From string both remain uncorrupted.

This occurs when one composes message in Plain text or in HTML, when he tries to compose message in Enriched text -- subject string is preserved, but message body became corrupted due to incorrect encoding field (us-ascii) in resulting mail message.

N.B. Box "Always Use Unicode..." in Preferences is always checked!

#71 preferences are not really saved right away on OS X, even when "save default" is pressed Application None Feature 09/05/06

preferences are not really saved right away on OS X, even when "save default" is pressed.

If the host crashes then most/all preference changes are lost.

Preferences only seem to be saved if Mulberry is quit from normally.
